On 6 June 2016, the team of Sophie Senani from AIRBUS GROUP INNOVATIONS received the award
SURFAIR Award 2016 – The Innovation Award
The award recognizes the development of a heat-sensitive coating for visual inspection of composite parts. This technological advance is the result of a partnership between Airbus Group Innovations and OliKrom.
To meet the specifications, the development required optimization of the thermochromic property from the design of the pigment to its insertion in an aeronautical paint.
